Celebrating success in the 2015 Logistics Quality Awards

Following on from the success of last years award, this years Logistics Quality Award received a wide range of submissions from across Europe. These reflected the focus and dedication of the sector to improving the quality of the service they provide and ensuring the customer receives the vehicle on time and in perfect condition.

This year’s award was awarded jointly to two companies in respect of their individual efforts, but also noting their collaboration in launching the new logistics centre in Solihull together.

We presented the first award to Jaguar Land Rover: a manufacturer nominated by one of their LSPs in recognition of their focus on logistics quality, their approach for supporting their LSPs achieve shared goals and their approach to collaboration across the sector.

The second award was presented to Groupe CAT whose nomination demonstrated their focus on logistics quality in respect to two specific projects delivered in the last 12 months, including the Solihull project noted above. Both of these projects were founded on clear principles of quality provision, cost reduction and customer service.

Matt Holmes, Director of Sevatas said: “This award provides a great opportunity to recognise those stakeholders within the industry that have gone above and beyond in setting new standards in Logistics Quality. Working closely with different organisation within the industry for over 25 years, its not always the case that intention is translated into outcomes. All the finalists in this award have shown clear determination to be better, deliver a product damage free and provide excellent customer service.”
