Celebrating success in the 2017 Logistics Quality Awards

Continuing in a successful and valuable vein, this year’s Logistics Quality Award received a wide range of excellent entries that Sevatas was proud to evaluate and present. In guiding the industry via our focus upon ‘Leading on Quality’ this year’s entries follow the achievements of previous winners that have acted consciously to make improvements for the betterment of themselves, clients and industry.

We had the pleasure of presenting the Logistics Quality Award to GBA, judged as the winner because they recognised the close association between pipeline quality and the risk primarily being the handling of the vehicle. This is often overlooked by many in favour of detailed management processes, but ensuring compliance and improving quality through training, checking, ownership and incentive does deliver results. Focused interventions and projects to improve upon the competency of employees to further improve quality in direct interaction with OEM’s product is a central feature of success in customer service, whilst receiving the benefit in low damage rates.
