Process and quality audits

Sometimes you need to examine in detail what is happening to find out how to improve it. The following explains how our experience can identify where a process could be improved reducing damage levels and saving costs.

Audits can be carried out on behalf of all parties with an interest in measuring and improving levels of quality and reducing damages in the supply chain. Manufacturers, insurers and logistics service providers all have a need to challenge whether best practice is being implemented and where improvements could be delivered.

The competencies and experiences of our people provide us with a wealth of resource to carry out high quality audits of routes and locations. These audits can be vital in identifying weaknesses that can cause significant cost and delay in the supply chain.

Claims process auditing

Process audits can focus on the effectiveness of claims administration in order to improve process efficiency and results. Locally administered arrangements can suffer from a lack of experience and expertise; damage rates can be higher, cost recovery lower and dealer service poor.

Auditing identifies weaknesses in the operation and facilitates the implementation of new arrangements focussed on delivering improved outcomes.

Operational quality auditing

Route audits can be undertaken using a comprehensive procedure that reviews all processes and logistics service providers involved in vehicle movements. These include audits of vehicle handling processes on board vessels, railheads and compounds as well as transporter loading and unloading.

The independent nature of our assessors ensure autonomy and transparency when reporting against a set of best practices developed over many years of experience across many brands throughout Europe.

Identification of operational non-conformances leads to training, process review, improved quality and ultimately lower damage levels and costs.

Using our in-house developed data capture units, a comprehensive set of data is collected and made available directly to our clients through our dedicated Data Centre

The architecture used in the software platform is extremely flexible and data fields can be tailored instantly to suit different client requirements.
